Parker released the DUOFOLD True Blue Fountain pen in 2007 as a commemoration to the exquisite Parker True Blue from the late 1920’s. Limited to only 5000 pens worldwide it embodies the spirit of its predecessor, it is both a collector’s item and a high quality fountain pen.

The DUOFOLD was originally launched in 1921. It was a revolutionary pen, quite unlike others of the time. It was oversized, bold and expensive – more than twice the usual price for a pen – and its success started a trend that other pen companies soon followed. PARKER produced the DUOFOLD in many colours and the launch of the True Blue in 1928 was originally targeted at a younger demographic at half the price.

The design was made by blending cerulean blue and creamy white acrylic material to make the 21st century replica of the original True Blue Pen. It is then polished to achieve the superb highly scratch-resistant sheen. The open nib is worked in 18 ct gold highlighted with platinum. The cap decal is specially designed to accentuate the uniqueness of this collection. A serial number is also engraved on the barrel and included in the Certificate of Authenticity. The design is finished with platinum plated trim and clip.
